The route the app uses is an STK push. You enter the amount in the cashier, the phone raises an M-PESA prompt on its own, and you approve it with your PIN. Nothing is typed into the M-PESA menu and no paybill number is involved. If the prompt does not appear within about a minute, the deposit has not started — do not send money manually to make up for it, because a second payment through a different route creates a second transaction that has to be reconciled by hand.

The second route is the paybill, entered through the M-PESA menu with your account number. It exists as a fallback for when the app cannot raise a prompt, and the number and the account format are shown in the cashier itself. Take them from there rather than from a forum post or a WhatsApp message: paybill numbers for betting operators are a standard target for people who publish a number that looks right and collects deposits that never arrive.
